I was especially drawn to the image of "fingerprints contain all the colours of you that turpentine won't remove." It captures something many of us have experienced—the way certain people leave traces that cannot simply be washed away, no matter how much time passes.
There is beauty here, but also quiet ache, and you hold both with remarkable restraint.
